Book your adhd assessment with one of our expert consultant psychiatrists and access the latest evidence-based treatments
We have established links with most of the major academic institutions and will work closely with your school, college or university to ensure that you are given the extra help and accommodations that you are entitled to.
These may include:
At the ADHD Centre we can offer assessments at one of our clinics in London, Milton Keynes or Manchester clinic or via Zoom for Healthcare. All the assessments are with an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in student ADHD.
Complete some simple symptom checklist and registration forms
The Student ADHD assessment will usually take 90 – 120 minutes to complete
Walked through a structured clinical assessment for Student ADHD which is based on the latest DSM-V criteria for Student ADHD.
Receive a letter from your Consultant outlining any
diagnosis and treatment plan details
Assessment
The doctor will take a detailed assessment of the following:
- Your presenting symptoms (and how these have developed over time)
- Your past medical history
- Your developmental history
- Your family history
The doctor will then walk you through a structured clinical assessment for adult ADHD which is based on the latest DSM-V criteria for adult ADHD. This is known to be the gold standard of assessment criteria for diagnosing the different sub-types of ADHD.
