Adult ADHD Assessment Costs
The cost for an initial assessment with our Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in ADHD is £445.
As part of your assessment, we also offer a free introductory coaching session with one of our specialist ADHD Coaches. We will get in touch to arrange this after you meet with the doctor.
As part of your assessment, you will receive a summary letter with the main clinical presentation, diagnosis and a suggested treatment plan. (If you require a longer 4-5 page report outlining the full detailed diagnostic assessment then this will be charged at an additional £150.)
Adult ADHD Coaching Costs
As part of your assessment, we also offer a free introductory coaching session with one of our specialist ADHD Behavioural Coaches. We will get in touch to arrange this after you meet with your doctor.
The cost of our ADHD coaching packages depend on the length and frequency of the sessions and we have a number of different plans to best suit your specific needs. Prices vary from between £180-£320/month.

If required the cost for follow-up consultations with your Consultant Psychiatrist are £195. We can also offer a repeat prescription service which will be charged at £75 per repeat prescription. If you have a follow-up appointment then this cost will be included in the follow-up fee and therefore not charged in addition.
Once your treatment plan is in place and you are happy with your treatment then we can help to facilitate a transfer of care to your GP if they are happy to take over your care.
Under the terms of a standard shared care agreement, in accordance with NICE guidelines, your GP will usually require you to still be seen by your ADHD Specialist at least once every six months for a review of treatment, which will be charged at the same rate as a standard follow-up an appointment.

Your Adult ADHD Assessment – What To Expect?
When you book your assessment we will send you a registration form to fill out and send back to us.
We normally ask if it is possible for you to get some collateral history, preferably from someone who has known you since childhood. This helps the doctor to get a better objective understanding of how your ADHD symptoms may have affected you throughout your life.
Your assessment will involve meeting with an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist doctor who specialises in adult ADHD.
Your assessment can either be face to face at one of our centres in Central London, Central Manchester, Liverpool or via Skype, depending on your preference. Assessments usually take around 60-90 minutes to complete. The doctor will take a detailed assessment of your presenting symptoms (and how these have developed over time), your past medical history, your developmental history, and your family history.
Then the doctor will go through a structured clinical assessment for Adult ADHD with you, which is based on the latest DSM-V criteria for Adult ADHD. These criteria are recognised as the gold standard of assessment criteria for diagnosing the different subtypes of ADHD.
At the end of the assessment, the doctor will either make a firm diagnosis or working diagnosis and then you can come up with an individualised treatment plan together.
Many clients experience different emotions when the diagnosis of Adult ADHD is made. They may feel a sense of relief and hope in the knowledge that there are effective treatments available. Some people may also experience a sense of frustration that they were not diagnosed earlier.
We, therefore, understand that most of our clients with longstanding undiagnosed ADHD do not want to waste any more time and are very keen to start making positive changes in their lives straight away. Therefore, if indicated, treatment will be usually be initiated at the end of the assessment.
We understand that clients may sometimes need to amend or change appointments.
Clients can cancel or reschedule their appointment at no extra cost, provided that they notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
If less than 48 hours notice is given then the following terms and conditions will apply:
- Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at 100% of the full fee.
