Levent is a clinical psychologist registered with the HCPC. He has over 20 years experience as a clinician and an integrative approach informed by research and work in diverse clinical settings. He is trained in a number of specific approaches, notably cognitive-behavioural and interpersonal psychotherapy and neuropsychology.
His experience and skills have enabled him to support clients with ADHD and associated difficulties such as depression, anxiety, executive functioning difficulties and interpersonal challenges. He pays particular attention to biological rhythms and routine, the role of stress on the nervous system and behaviour, and how these are impacted in ADHD.
Levent focuses on developing a shared understanding of problems clients face and to then focus on cultivating adaptive coping skills to address these. This individually tailored process, underpinned by evidence-based strategies serves, to build resilience and help clients achieve the changes they hoped for.
