Dr Mashru graduated from Guys, King’s and St Thomas Medical School in 2007. He also has a Pharmacology BSc from King’s College London and was awarded a diploma with Merit from the Institute of Psychiatry.
Dr Mashru works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an ADHD service in the NHS. He also works with patients who suffer from other general psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, psychosis and personality disorder.
Many such conditions co-exist with ADHD and this therefore makes him an expert clinician in dealing with complex cases and presentations. He uses evidence-based treatment and a biopsychosocial model to formulate holistic management plans for his patients.
He has excellent feedback from patients. Dr Mashru has been awarded the certificate of excellence 2021 from ‘iwantgreatcare’ website for consistent 5-star patient ratings.

I was assessed for adult ADHD by Dr Mashru in summer 2021. Dr Mashru helped me feel very at ease during my assessment – I felt he listened to everything I had to say and I felt comfortable talking with him about my difficulties, an experience I have not always had in mental health services. I have been discharged with a medication programme that meets my needs and felt I was given enough time to titrate effectively. I would absolutely recommend Dr Mashru to anyone seeking ADHD diagnosis.
