Overview
Join us for an in-depth clinical discussion exploring the complex relationship between ADHD and eating disorders. Increasingly recognised in both adolescent and adult populations, the overlap between impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, reward processing differences and disordered eating behaviours presents significant diagnostic and management challenges within primary care and specialist settings.

This session will examine how ADHD can influence eating behaviours, how to identify when symptoms may reflect comorbid pathology rather than standalone presentations, and the implications for safe prescribing and multidisciplinary care. We will also consider how anxiety, low mood and neurodevelopmental vulnerability may further complicate clinical decision-making.

Designed to support confidence in assessment, risk identification and shared-care planning, this session will provide practical insight for clinicians managing complex neurodiversity presentations.

A live Q&A will follow the presentations.
Who Should Attend
  • NHS and private GPs
  • Primary Care Clinicians
  • Practice Nurses, ANPs and Physician Associates

  • Clinicians involved in ADHD/ASD assessment, prescribing or shared-care
  • Anyone supporting complex neurodiversity presentations in primary care
This session is clinically focused but open to a wider public with an interest in neurodevelopmental and mental health presentations.
