Fantastic experience

My Son has been a patient at the ADHD Centre for a few years now. The process has been amazing from start to finish. Dr Kumar has been helpful and informative throughout it all. I would recommend Dr Kumar to anyone who is at the beginning of the journey and wants help and support.

After realising I couldn’t rely on the NHS to get the help I needed, I turned to private options and went with The ADHD Centre due to their professionalism and GMC-registered psychiatrists.

I so far have had my full ADHD diagnosis (face-to-face) and 2 follow up appointments (zoom call). I am in the middle of my titration period with Elvanse, which is improving my symptoms. I’m also receiving proper aftercare and follow-ups which keep me on the right track.

Dr Ankur Kumar is professional, patient, a good listener and cares about the well being of his patients. I was able to fully explain my situation / health journey of trying to figure out what has been wrong all of these years, as well as share documents with him from when I was a child. He took all of this information in when he carefully evaluated me, and did not rush this delicate process.

It is expensive, especially when you factor in the cost of follow ups while you are going through titration. However, whenever I have had silly questions about things, I get quick responses with the answers. The pharmacy which provide the medication respond instantly, and give you options for delivery. Overall, you pay up because everything is done properly, with care for the patients, a desire to help them get on in life, seamless communication and access to healthcare professionals without broken NHS waiting times.

Most importantly of all, you can’t put a price on the high probability of getting your life back in order, and these guys will give you that option.

You pay, but for good reason. Use them if you can’t rely on your local NHS services for ADHD assistance.

Late diagnosis for me , Dr Kumar was very patient , as I was angry and frustrated , needing to understand more about my behaviours . Some of the processes were a challenge , and I fed this back – more on the admin side – that said , Avril was also super helpful . The next steps have been made clear as I embark on additional services and see how that goes . Its good to know that there are still other routes I can take and they are clear to me . Thank you to Dr Kumar and Avril .
