Child Depression Assessment &
Support

If your child is experiencing low mood or emotional difficulties, support is available.

It can be concerning to see your child become withdrawn, overwhelmed, or struggling emotionally. Changes in mood, behaviour, or engagement at school may indicate that they need additional support.

Depression and low mood can present differently in children and young people, and it is not always easy to recognise or understand what is happening. A specialist assessment can help provide clarity, reassurance, and a clear pathway forward.

We provide clinically led assessments and support for children and young people experiencing a range of mental health and psychological difficulties, helping to build understanding, resilience, and a clear pathway forward, particularly where low mood and emotional wellbeing are affecting daily life.

  • Withdrawal from friends, family, or activities
  • Increased irritability or emotional outbursts
