Dr. Lubna Anwar is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist currently working for a large London Mental Health NHS Trust. She has a Medical Degree and became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2003. She has full registration with General Medical Council. She is trained in psychotherapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Transpersonal/Integrative Psychotherapy and also offers supervision to other trainee therapists. In addition, she is the Director of Medical Education in her organisation.

She has worked for NHS in various roles for over 25 years and as a consultant psychiatrist in NHS and private sector for over 10 years. Dr Anwar works with and supports adults with wide range of emotional and psychological issues. She offers holistic diagnostic assessments and treatment recommendations for mental disorders such as Psychotic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Personality Disorders.

She is appropriately qualified to offer detailed assessments to patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder & comorbid mental health conditions, having trained to administer ADI-R to elicit a developmental narrative bringing objectivity to the assessment process. She engages patients and where possible relatives in this process and help make recommendations to improve quality of life for her patients.
