Date and time
This session will explore the intersection of neurodiversity and sports psychiatry, including attention regulation, impulsivity, emotional intensity, perfectionism and burnout. We will consider how neurodevelopmental traits may influence resilience, risk-taking, motivation and recovery — as well as the implications for assessment, diagnosis and safe treatment within high-performance settings.
The discussion will also address stigma, disclosure, safeguarding and multidisciplinary collaboration when supporting athletes and individuals operating in performance-driven environments.
A live Q&A will follow the presentations.
