Date and time
This session will explore how mindfulness-based approaches and practical emotional regulation strategies can support students, parents and faculty navigating university life. We will consider the interaction between ADHD, anxiety, low mood and stress, and discuss how early identification and supportive interventions can reduce risk and improve outcomes.
The discussion will focus on practical, accessible techniques that can be implemented within student support services, clinical settings and academic environments. Emphasis will also be placed on fostering psychologically safe spaces that recognise neurodivergent strengths while addressing areas of vulnerability.
